Born and raised in the suburbs of Milwaukee, Katie left the Midwest upon receiving a Congressional nomination to the Military Academy at West Point. After working and living in Europe and the Middle East for several years, her career brought her to Washington DC in 2008. It was the perfect mix of city living, postcard perfection of brick sidewalks, walkability of a German village, and convenience of jogging the Mall before breakfast. Within the first 12 months, Katie had decided to plant some roots and purchased her first row home. While she has moved overseas several times since, Katie has always found a way back to our Nation’s Capital. She brings an accomplished work ethic to Barley & Barley along with significant experience purchasing and managing residential properties.

As a mother of two, you are likely to catch her cheering on the sidelines while sipping coffee from a reusable container or cooking weeknight family meals. In her free time, she dreams of one day speaking French well-enough to retire to the vineyards of Bordeaux.
