Tyler draws inspiration from the elegant craftsmanship and traditional silhouettes of the historic Philadelphia neighborhood where she was raised. Her mother instilled in her, from an early age, the tenets of stewardship and what it means to honor the soul of a home. A lifelong fascination with making combined with a passion for aesthetics propelled Tyler through studio art programs. When her studies brought her to DC, she fell in love with the city’s layered history, vibrant neighborhoods and unique architectural style. 

When she is not on work sites or dreaming up design ideas, you can find her building sculptures and walking around Capitol Hill with her dog Gus.
